Day 1


Hallelujah! At last we are on our way. I feel as though we have been planning and packing for weeks and we are still bound to have forgotten something of importance even with all the check lists.

Today we left Halifax just in time to listen to The Archers and the afternoon play which passes the journey well and shortly afterwards we arrived at our good friends Pam and Paul's where we parked on their drive. Looking forward to a welcome meal and a few drinks at the start of this epic journey. Tomorrow we are off to Oxford.

    How was oxford? did you get my text? When do you leave the country???
    Not sure if this will work as it asks me to select so had to go for anonymous but its korin!
